Caitlyn Moriarty
Director, GRIT Volleyball Camps
Head Indoor and Beach Volleyball Coach, Berry College
Named three-time AVCA South Region Coach of the Year and four-time SAA Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Vikings to nine consecutive SAA Conference Championship titles. Her coaching record (212-56, 106-12 SAA) ranks her 4th in the NCAA among active volleyball coaches. Additionally, the Vikings ranked have earned a top-25 ranking in NCAA DIII every season since 2017, including a #3 finish in 2025. In her ten years as Head Coach at Berry, her teams have been recognized with 63 All-Conference selections, 18 All-Region players, and 15 AVCA All-Americans, including seven SAA Conference Players of the Year and seven SAA Conference Defensive Players of the Year. Moriarty also serves as the head coach of the inaugural beach volleyball team. Berry finished as runner-up at the AVCA Small College Beach Volleyball Championship in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
Lauren Sandin
Virtual Assistant and Assistant Director, GRIT Volleyball Camps
As a former Viking and one of the most accomplished setters in program history, Lauren Sandin (formerly Schmitz) brings a wealth of experience and a deep love for Berry Volleyball to G.R.I.T. Volleyball Camps. Lauren was a four-year standout for Berry College and earned All-Conference honors while finishing her career with more than 2,200 assists, which ranks among the best totals in program history.
Lauren currently lives in Nocatee, Florida with her family and serves as the Virtual Assistant and Assistant Camp Director for G.R.I.T. Volleyball Camps. Her organization, attention to detail, and passion for helping young athletes create a positive camp experience make her an invaluable part of our team.
Rachel Ford
Assistant Indoor and Beach Volleyball Coach, Berry College
Rachel Ford joined the Berry volleyball coaching staff in November 2021. Prior to Berry, Ford served as the graduate assistant coach at Ithaca College while also pursuing her master’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Psychology. While coaching the Bombers, she helped Ithaca Volleyball win their 2018 NCAA regional tournament, leading to an appearance in the NCAA national tournament. Ford returns home to Berry, as she graduated in 2018 with her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and minors in Psychology and Family Studies. In her time as a Viking, she was a four-year member of the Berry College Volleyball team, was named to the Dean’s List several times, earned the SAA sportsmanship award, earned the Claressa Brekke Commitment award and was named a team captain.
Molly Bergin
Assistant Indoor and Beach Volleyball Coach, Berry College
Molly Bergin joins the Berry volleyball coaching staff in January 2025. A 2023 graduate, Molly returns home to Berry after working in college ministry and coaching at the DI-level the last two years. While in a Viking jersey, Molly was a four-year all-SAA conference honoree and 2x AVCA All-American. She was also a member of the inaugural Beach volleyball team at Berry and the SAAC president.
