Caitlyn Moriarty

Director, grit volleyball camps

Named two-time AVCA South Region Coach of the Year (2018 & 2017) and two-time SAA Conference Coach of the Year (2018 & 2017) after leading the Vikings to back-to-back SAA Regular Season and Conference Tournament Championships. Additionally, the Vikings ranked #1 in the South Region in 2018 and earned back-to-back trips to the NCAA Tournament. In her three years as Head Coach at Berry, she has aided the development of 12 All-Conference players, 6 All-Region players, and 6 AVCA All-Americans, including two SAA Conference Players of the Year and two SAA Conference Defensive Players of the Year. Moriarty served as Berry's Assistant Coach for four seasons before being named Head Coach in February 2016. Prior to coming to Berry, Moriarty was an All American Middle Blocker at Christopher Newport University in Virginia and was an assistant coach for the Captains when they went all the way to the DIII National Championship match.

JT Oates

In 2018 John Thomas "JT" Oates began his third season as an assistant for the Berry Vikings. In his three seasons with the Vikings, he has helped the team compile a 79-21 record and a 37-5 SAA conference record, placing the team in the conference finals all three years and winning conference championships in 2018 and 2017. Prior to Berry, JT served as the volunteer assistant at Bridgewater College in Virginia while working as a Maintenance and Commercial Programs Manager with Dynamic Aviation in Virginia for 12 years. Oates is USAV Impact, Cap I and Cap II certified and is a Head Coach with Tsunami-Rome Volleyball Club.

Katie (O'Rourke) Price

In 2019 Katie Price begins her second season on staff with Rome High School volleyball. She also serves as Director for Tsunami-Rome Volleyball Club. She was the 2015 SAA Conference Player of the Year and an All-American Middle Blocker for Berry. Katie graduated Berry in 2016 with a degree in Elementary Education. When she's not coaching, Katie is teaching 4th grade in the Rome City School District.

 

 

 

In addition to the Berry College Volleyball coaching staff, our camps and clinics will be assisted by current and former Viking Volleyball players, as well as select trusted club directors and other college coaches. 6:1 Camper to Coach Ratio.
