Frequently asked questions

 

What is your cancellation policy?

For individual camps a 15% cancellation fee will be charged upon request of a refund, regardless of reason for cancellation*. Refunds will be granted only if cancellation is made 7 days prior to the beginning of that particular camp or clinic. We are not able to offer refunds within 7 days of camps or clinics. Team and Satellite Camp deposits are non-refundable.

*covid-19?

We will follow all CDC, GA Department of Health and Berry College guidelines and policies related to COVID-19. If necessary, more detailed information will be distributed when we get closer to the start of camp. Should we need to cancel a camp or clinic due to COVID-19, you will receive a full refund or credit on your account.

 

Can i pay by check?

Yes. Please contact caitlyn@berryvbcamps.com for details. Checks must be made out to "GRIT Volleyball".

 

What should campers bring?

Clothing to participate in volleyball (shorts/spandex, sneakers, t-shirts, knee-pads, etc.) Overnight campers should also bring linens, bath towel, pillow and toiletries. Both Day and Overnight Campers will have the opportunity to purchase food, drinks, and Berry Volleyball merchandise from our Camp Store. We encourage campers NOT to bring valuables with them. 

 

Who makes up the staff at camps and clinics?

Our camps and clinics are run under the direction of the Berry College Volleyball coaching staff. They will be assisted by current and former Viking Volleyball players, as well as select trusted club directors and other college coaches.

 

Where are the camps and clinics held?

Camps and clinics will be held at The Cage Athletic and Recreation Center at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. For our larger camps we will also utilize Richards Gym, Ford Gym, the MAC Gym, and the Beach Volleyball Courts all located on Berry's campus.

 

Where do campers check-in?

Check-In for our Overnight Camps will be held at the dorms. We will send an email out prior to camp with details and directions. All Day Camps and Clinics will check-in at The Cage Center. The Cage Center is the first building on your left when you pull into campus. Parking is open.

 

Where are overnight campers housed?

All overnight campers will be housed on campus in a Berry residence hall. We will have staff in the dorms with campers at all times. Berry's campus is extremely safe and dorms require a key to enter the building as well as each room. You can request a roommate during the registration process.

 

Will there be medical staff on site?

Yes. Licensed collegiate trainers are on duty at all times to attend to any illness or injuries. Please note: campers requiring the use of inhalers or medications of any kind are solely responsible for administering their own medications.

 

are scholarships or financial assistance available for campers?

Unfortunately, no. We are limited by NCAA rules prohibiting us from offering individual based financial assistance to our camps.
